We have one position remaining for a Summer internship. It is an opportunity for a qualified applicant to spend 30 days during the Summer with a professional trainer gaining first-rate experience. It is not cleaning stalls and mucking the barn. It is also not the ” new guy rides the broncs. ” It is , however, a great way to spend a lot of time in the saddle helping test, work, and refine young horses in our two-year program.
Applicants must be over 18 years old, enrolled or just finishing an equine based academic program, and plan to work in the horse industry. The purpose is to give students with the goal to be employed in the equine industry the opportunity to work with a number of different horses in training to further their education. The completion of the internship is a real plus with many employers.
